This year the famous St. Olaf Christmas Festival will be simulcast at movie theaters all across the country. The simulcast presentation on December 2nd will begin at 4PM. The closest participating theater to Portland is in Lowell, MA. Tickets are $20.
If you are interested in attending, we strongly encourage you to buy your tickets early. They go on sale online Friday, November 2nd. If you would like to travel to the simulcast as part of a St. Ansgar group, there will be a signup sheet at the church.

The online ticketing started to work Friday afternoon (11/2). There is a $1 surcharge on each ticket. If you buy the tickets online, you can print the tickets on your home computer. At the theater, the usher scans the ticket and there is no need to wait in line. (At least that is the way I think it is supposed to work.) The site to purchase tickets is fathom.com. It can be reached through the St. Olaf Christmas Fest website. After clicking on fathom.com, click on the event. Then, enter the Lowell, MA zip code: 01853. Click on buy tickets from Showcase Cinemas in Lowell, MA.
